Textile weaving artist from Urbana awarded $50,000 fellowship

Kira Dominguez Hultgren has been selected for a 2024 United States Artists Fellowship. She's a textile weaving artist based in Urbana, and an assistant professor at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in both the School of Art + Design, and the Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies. We talk about her life and work.
