There are well more than 100 separate efforts to develop a vaccine for COVID-19. We’ll talk to a Chicago researcher about to begin a massive trial for one of them.

Then, we’ll look at the idea of superforecasting — where teams of people have repeatedly made better forecasts than subject-matter experts on everything from politics to COVID-19. We’ll also talk to a superforecaster who lives right here in central Illinois.

Then, will there be baseball in 2020? The union representing major league players said no to the league’s offer Monday, but MLB says it’s going ahead anyway. Meanwhile, a summer college league will play ball in Bloomington-Normal.
