Illinois is accepting submissions for a new design for the state flag. Today, the state lawmaker who sponsored the law that created the Illinois Flag Commission joins the 21st as well as an expert on flag design.
They discuss what elements make a good flag design, what the commission will be looking for when going through entries, and opposition to the redesign process.
