The Trump Administration has threatened to cut funding to NPR and PBS, through a “rescindance package,” which would take away funding that was already set aside through 2027. NPR's media correspondent, the head of an Illinois-based public broadcasting organization, and a law professor discuss the legal implications this entails and what it means for the first Amendment and public media stations across Illinois.
