Trump’s firing of hundreds of Weather Service workers could impact future severe storm warnings

Whenever you get an alert about a major snowstorm, a tornado, or any other form of severe weather, you're probably getting information from the National Weather Service. But the cuts and mass firings within the federal government under the Trump administration have come for the service, along with its parent agency, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. Meteorologists around the country are warning that could mean dire consequences for future forecasts and severe storm outbreaks.
