U of I professors work on bringing Quantum Computing to the forefront
If all goes according to plan, Chicago will become home to the Illinois Quantum and Microelectronics Park in the next few years. The hope is the park will become a hub for government, researchers and industry to work together on developing quantum computing.
The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign is taking the lead on this effort and two professors with big roles in the project join today's program to discuss the ideas behind the park and to give an update on its progress.
