President Joe Biden announced a sweeping 2.3 trillion dollar infrastructure proposal, which the administration is calling the American Jobs Plan. The plan could have significant impacts for rural communities in Illinois and for farmers as the proposal attempts to address issues such as broadband access, rural road and bridge repair, climate change, and more.

The 21st spoke to Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack to hear more about the details of the plan.
