A magnitude 3.6 earthquake shook Northern Illinois on November 15, 2023. Did you feel that quake or two other tremblors in the past two months? Illinois as a whole rarely gets earthquakes, but it is not immune to them either. Historically, there's been a handful of earthquakes that have caused significant damage.
