It’s been two weeks since President Donald Trump was inaugurated. An incomplete list of what’s happened since then includes firing the heads and other top career officials at numerous government agencies, firing inspectors general, seeking the names of potentially thousands of FBI agents and support personnel who worked on Trump investigations, Elon Musk seizing control of government computer systems, including those responsible for personnel and payments, erasing mention of trans people from government websites; and a suggested “clean out” of Gaza with Palestinians going to Egypt and Jordan.

Two policy experts give their take on all this.
