A historic revolution has taken place in Syria this past week as rebel forces captured major cities in the country, including the capital Damascus, leading to the fall of Bashar Al-Assad's regime. The Assad family fled to Russia, ending more than 50 years of a dictatorship.

An Illinos-based Syrian-American journalist and a Middle East affairs expert discuss concerns as a new government takes power in the country as well as hopes for the future.
