Time Magazine has announced its TIME 100 list of most influential people for 2021. Illinois Congressman Adam Kinzinger (R-IL16) appeared on the list for the first time. Kinzinger’s national profile has boomed since the Capitol insurrection on Jan. 6, 2021, as he’s become perhaps the most outspoken contrarian voice in the Republican Party. He has voted in favor of impeachment of former President Trump, and has repeatedly criticized his own Republican party.
