Some of the causes for the extreme heat this summer was due to the little amount of rain from the previous seasons finally catching up over the summer with over 80 mile per hour winds. We dive into the conversation discussion of why this summer was filled with drought, extreme heat and wind, and wildfire smoke, which disrupted both meteorologists' ability to track the weather patterns and farmers' routines of harvesting.
