The election is now 12 days away and the race for the presidency between Democratic nominee Vice President Kamala Harris and Republican nominee Former President Donald Trump continues to tighten.

According to the Pew Research Center, an estimated 36.2 million Latinos will be eligible to vote this election. This makes Latinos the second-largest voting bloc in the country.

In recent years, there has been a rise in Latinos voting for Republicans, as opposed to Democrats. A panel of experts including a professor specializing in Latino studies, a representative from the Pew Research Center, and a political analyst weigh in on this shift in the Latino community.
