Atomic Age Cocktail Party

Rodgers & Hart (152)

Atomic Age logo with an illustration of Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart at a piano. Text reads

We're all about the music of Rodgers and Hart this week. They were one of the most popular and successful songwriting teams for their era. In the 1920s and 1930s, their stars shone bright on Broadway. In the early 1930s, they moved to Hollywood and brought their songwriting talents to the movies. All in all, they penned hundreds and hundreds of songs, many of which became standards during the hi-fi era including My Funny Valentine, Isn't It Romantic, and Blue Moon. Coming up, we’ll hear from Bobby Short, Vic Damone, Carmen McRae, and many more!
