Vinyl Remains

Saturday, October 1, beginning at 8 a.m., WILL will sponsor "Vintage Vinyl," which started in 1993, and is now in its 26th year. This annual sale has for decades offered at bargain prices audio and video recordings, and in the process, has seen some formats rise and fall, but vinyl remains!

The proceeds of this sale go to the "Illinois Radio Reader," a free radio service for the blind and visually impaired community of east central Illinois.

On this week's Classics of the Phonograph, Saturday at 11 am on WILL-FM, we will talk about record collecting, and hear from Kathy Spegal about the goal of the "Illinois Radio Reader."
