Democrat Governor JB Pritzker is seeking a third term. If voters approve, he would join Jim Thompson as the only men ever to earn that privilege in the 21st state. Pritzker’s opponent is once again Republican Darren Bailey. He is a farmer from Southern Illinois, a former state senator, and a former Republican nominee for governor from just four years ago.
