Simone Lamsma plays Britten’s “Violin Concerto” on tonight’s “Evening Concert”

Tonight at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s “The New York Philharmonic This Week”. Simone Lamsma is the violin soloist in Benjamin Britten’s “Violin Concerto”. Music Director Jaap van Zweden conducts. Also on the program: Shostakovich’s “7th Symphony”, the Leningrad”.
