Brahms’ moving and monumental “1st Symphony” on tonight’s “Evening Concert”

 

Tonight at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s “The New York Philharmonic This Week”. Music Director Jaap van Zweden leads the Philharmonic in Brahms’ “1st Symphony in C Minor”. Also on the program Brahms’ “Tragic Overture” and John Adams’ “The Wound Dresser”.
