Tonight at 7:00 on the Evening Concert on FM 90.9 it’s “The New York Philharmonic This Week”, now heard regularly Monday nights at 7:00. This week it’s Mahler’s “9th Symphony”. Herbert von Karajan said this about Mahler’s 9th: ” It is music that comes from another world; it comes from Eternity.”
