Pianist Louis Lortie featured in two works by composers from the Paris Consevatoire
Tonight at 7:00 on the Evening Concert on WILL-FM 90.9 Louis Lortie is the soloist in Franck’s “Symphonic Variations” and D’Indy’s “Symphony on a French Mountain Air” with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra led by guest conductor Charles Dutoit. Also on the program Ravel’s “Rapsodie espagnole” and Daphnis and Chloe Suite No. 2.
