Janacek, Sibelius, and a Saariaho Premiere from the Los Angeles Philharmonic

Tonight at 7:00 on the Evening Concert on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s the Los Angeles Philharmonic. Conductor-Laureate Esa-Pekka Salonen leads the group in Sibelius’ “Lemminkainen Suite” and Janacek’s “Sinfonietta”.  The Sinfonietta became the basis for the work “Knife Edge” by the rock band Emerson, Lake and Palmer.
