Hundreds of people braved a freezing rain in Aurora on Sunday to pray for the victims of Friday’s mass shooting at a manufacturing plant.
Senator Scott Bennett and Representative Carol Ammons will host a town hall on marijuana legalization on Feb. 18, 2019. The event begins at 6 p.m. at the Illinois Terminal in Champaign.
That brings the total number of measles cases reported in Champaign-Urbana to four so far in 2019.

A gunman who entered the Henry Pratt Company in Aurora, Ill., on Friday afternoon, armed with a handgun, killed five civilians, officials announced at a press conference. Five police officers were also wounded.
