(Updated: 6:00am 5/18/2018) -- Thousands of water customers in southern Illinois entered a second day of water conservation Friday, as well as news the crisis may soon begin to ease.

The Illinois General Assembly approved a measure allowing parents to give their kids medical marijuana while at school.

Also known as a la carte or flat-fee, unbundled legal services offer clients a middle ground between having no help and hiring a lawyer for an entire case, though some attorneys question whether clients are getting what they deserve — and whether it’s a viable way to earn a living.

Conversations around gun violence often revolve around long-term solutions, like improving schools or the local economy. But even if those things were easy — and they’re not — it would take a generation to realize the benefits.
