Lyric Theatre at Illinois’ final show of the season is the Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick musical, “She Loves Me,” opening Thursday night at Krannert Center for the Performing Arts in Urbana.

Illinois Public Media’s Brian Moline spoke with the director of the show, Lyric Theatre's Musical Theatre coordinator Sarah Wigley, who says the music from “She Loves Me” will stick with the audience well after they leave the theater.

"The score is such a gem, and the word I hear most often associated with this musical, "She Loves Me," is the word 'charming,'" Wigley said. "It is just inherently full of joy."

"She Loves Me" opens Thursday night at Krannert's Tryon Festival Theatre. Showtimes for Thursday-Saturday evenings are 7:30pm, with a Sunday matinee starting at 3:00pm.
