Parking Restrictions for Christie Clinic Illinois Marathon

Thousands of runners will be on the streets of Champaign-Urbana this weekend for the Christie Clinic Illinois Marathon races.

The race starts near State Farm Center, runs through campus, loops through Urbana, back through campus, out into Champaign, and finishes on the 50-yard line of Memorial Stadium.

The following streets will have restricted parking between Thursday, April 23rd and Saturday, April 25th, 2015. 

The course will be closed to traffic for participants who are averaging faster than 13:45 per mile.

Slower participants may continue after traffic is allowed onto the race course, but they do so at their own risk and must follow pedestrian statutes.

Race volunteers, the finish line, and post-race festivities will remain active long enough to accommodate runners taking up to 7 hours. 

The streets will be posted least 24 hours in advance of the event.

 

Vehicles parked in these areas are subject to towing at the owners expense.
