First up on this week's back-to-back episodes of Prairie Performances—Friday at 7 pm on WILL-FM 90.9—it's Classically Black featuring Duke Ellington, “The Classical Duke.”

Next, Jazz from Allerton Park continues with a concert with the UI Jazz Faculty in a salute to Oliver Nelson's "The Blues and the Abstract Truth.” Special guest will be Oliver Nelson, Jr., who was on campus in 2012 when this concert was originally given.
