You’ll hear William Russo’s “2nd Symphony”, Duke Ellington’s “A Tone Parallel to Harlem” featuring trumpeter Wynton Marsalis and an abridged version of Copland’s “The Tender Land”.  

Thursday night October 31 at 7:00 on WILL 90.9FM/HD1 you’ll hear another episode of “The Sound of 13”, a program that investigates the intersection between the 13th Amendment and classical music. At 8:00 it’s “The Middle”: a weekly, non-partisan call-in talk show on politics.  

Sunday night October 20 at 6:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL 90.9FM/HD1 you’ll hear Bartok’s “Divertimento for Strings” from Lincoln Center followed at 7:00 by “String Quartets from Mexico” on Fiesta and at 8:00 by Gateways Radio.

Tuesday night October 8 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL, 90.9FM/HD1 it’s the “Chicago Symphony Orchestra Radio Broadcast”.  You’ll hear Shostakovich’s “1st Suite for Variety Orchestra” and selections from Prokofiev’s “Romeo and Juliet”. Also on the program John Adams’ “The Chairman Dances”.

Sunday night July 21 at 6:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL- FM 90.9 you’ll hear Sibelius’ “Intimate Voices” String Quartet from Lincoln Center followed at 7:00 by music of Ricardo Castro on Fiesta and at 8:00 by Gateways Radio.
