You'll hear Rhiannon Giddens “At the Purchaser’s Option” and Michael Abels’ “Dance for Martin’s Dream”. Also on the program Ellington’s “Black and Tan Fantasy”.

Monday night April 7 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on W-I-L-L 90.9 FMHD1 it’s “The New York Philharmonic This Week”. From the Philharmonic’s legendary audio archives you’ll hear Beethoven’s “1st Symphony” and Bruckner’s “7th Symphony”. Kurt Masur conducts.

Monday night January 20 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL 90.9 FMHD1 it’s “The New York Philharmonic This Week”. You’ll hear William Russo’s “2nd Symphony”, Duke Ellington’s “A Tone Parallel to Harlem” featuring trumpeter Wynton Marsalis and an abridged version of Copland’s “The Tender Land”.
