Jazz in July

Enjoy sizzling hot jazz and smooth tunes from the Allerton Music Barn Festival all month long on Prairie Performances—Friday nights at 7 pm on WILL-FM 90.9.

This week features Nathan and Julie Jordan Gunn with the University of Illinois Faculty Jazz Ensemble in selections from the “Great American Songbook.” This concert “Cabaret Night” from 2010 features selections from Nathan’s CD “Just Before Sunrise”, which includes songs and lyrics from artists such as W.H. Auden, Billy Joel, Sting, and Jimmy Van Heusen.
