Verdi’s Requiem

This week on Prairie Performances at 7 pm on Friday on WILL-FM we will hear a concert with Sinfonia da Camera. This concert from 2013 was in celebration of the 200th anniversary of Giuseppi Verdi’s birth with a performance of his Requiem Mass. This performance with Sinfonia da Camera features nearly 200 voices, uniting 4 choral ensembles at the University of Illinois. The soloists are Soprano, Stephanie Gregory; Mezzo soprano, Hyona Kim; Tenor, Daniel Montenegro; and Bass-Baritone, Riccardo Herrera.
