Many students go to college hoping to become filmmakers, but not many get firsthand experience with professional filmmaking that early in their career. Sawyer Carver is a college sophomore whose short documentary on a small business in the Quad Cities is now on Roku. 

Augustana College in the Quad Cities has about 2,500 students. We'll talk with its president, Andrea Talentino, about trends in enrollment, working with the community, and responding to changes in higher education under the Trump administration.

Augustana College became test-optional in 2007. Northern Illinois University announced in January of 2020 that it would start “test-blind” admissions.
