You’ll hear Saint-Saëns’s “Symphony No. 3” and Poulenc’s “Concerto in G Minor for Organ, Strings, and Timpani” featuring Cameron Carpenter. Opening the program is Dukas’s “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice”.

Monday night June 6 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s the “Chicago Symphony Orchestra Radio Broadcast”. Organist Cameron Carpenter is the soloist in Saint-Saen’s “Organ” Symphony and Poulenc’s “Concerto for Organ, Strings, and Timpani”. Nikolaj Szeps-Znaider guest conducts. Also on the program, Dukas’ ‘The Sorcerer’s Apprentice”.

Thursday night August 18 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s a “Deutsche Welle Festival Concert”. The mythological Prometheus is the subject, and you’ll hear Liszt’s “Prometheus” symphonic poem and Scriabin’s “Prometheus” for piano, organ and orchestra. Also on the program, Cameron Carpenter’s “The Scandal”.

You would expect (and be right about it) to hear Saint-Saens' "Organ Symphony" on the program.
