Tonight at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s the Cleveland Orchestra. You’ll hear the last live-in-concert recording ever made by George Szell. On the program Mozart’s “Symphony No. 40 In G Minor” and Sibelius’ “2nd Symphony”.   

Tonight at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s “Carnegie Hall Live”. Marc-Andre Hamelin is the soloist in Liszt’s “1st Piano Concerto” with the Budapest Festival Orchestra led by Ivan Fischer. Also on the program Weber’s “Overture to Der Freischutz” and Prokofiev’s “5th Symphony”.

The chamber orchestra Sinfonia da Camera is in concert Saturday night at Krannert Center for the Performing Arts. The program starts at 7:30 p.m.
