Remembering The ‘Redbird 7’

It was a year ago Thursday that a Cessna plane crash claimed the lives of two members of Illinois State University's athletic staff, as well as five community members. The group was on their way back from the NCAA men's basketball championship.

Report: Plane Changed Course Before Deadly Bloomington Crash

A report out Wednesday from the Wednesday's National Transportation Safety Board on the April 7 crash doesn't indicate why the pilot changed course as he neared Central Illinois Regional Airport.
