Wednesday night April 17 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s the San Francisco Symphony led by Music Director Esa-Pekka Salonen. You’ll hear the world premiere of Magnus Lindberg’s “Third Piano Concerto” featuring Yuja Wang, Carl Nielsen’s “Helios Overture”, and Béla Bartók’s “Concerto for Orchestra”.

Tuesday night February 6 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s the “Chicago Symphony Orchestra Radio Broadcast”.  You’ll hear Nielsen’s “Helios Overture” and Lalo’s “Symphonie espagnole” featuring violinist Ray Chen. Closing out the program is Brahms “4th Symphony”.

Tuesday night May 16 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s the “Chicago Symphony Orchestra Radio Broadcast”. Ray Chen is the soloist in Lalo’s “Symphonie espagnole”. Hannu Lintu guest conducts. Also on the program, Nielsen’s “Helios Overture” and Brahms “4th Symphony”.

Tuesday night November 29 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s the “Chicago Symphony Orchestra Radio Broadcast”. Guest conductor Hannu Lintu leads the CSO in Sibelius’ “Finlandia” and “5th Symphony” as well as Nielsen’s “Helios Overture” and “Violin Concerto” with soloist Pekka Kuusisto.
