President Tim Killeen says the 5-year pact would guarantee ‘baseline’ state funding would increase by the rate of inflation during each remaining year.
Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan issued an opinion Wednesday, saying daily fantasy sports, offered through websites like FanDuel or DraftKings, is illegal gambling under state law. She says illegal gambling occurs when someone "plays a game of chance or skill for money.''
