Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra

Thursday night December 15 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s the “Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra”. Guest conductor Nathalie Stutzmann makes her Heinz Hall debut leading the orchestra in Dvorak’s “New World” Symphony. Also on the program Brahms’ “Violin Concerto” with soloist Daniel Lozakovich.

Monday night June 20 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s “The New York Philharmonic This Week”. It’s a program of works that had their world premieres by the Philharmonic, like Dvorak’s “New World Symphony”, Copland’s “Connotations for Orchestra” and Corigliano’s “Clarinet Concerto”.
