Champaign city employee Nichole Millage is prepping for her third, and likely final, Paralympics, starting in Rio Wednesday. A member of the USA Sitting Volleyball team, Millage says she's not concerned about reports of Brazil's economic crisis, and what that might mean to the games.
University of Illinois wheelchair athlete and graduate Sarah Castle is the president of the National Wheelchair Basketball Association, founded nearly 70 years ago by 'Father of Accessibility' Tim Nugent, who died this week. "His passion and his love for the game, but also his desire for the well-being of every athlete was completly apparent," she said.
