You’ll hear Debussy’s “Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun” and Florence Price’s “4th Symphony”. Also on the program Caroline Shaw’s “Microfictions, Vol. 3 featuring the vocal ensemble “Roomful of Teeth”.

Monday night June 12 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s “The New York Philharmonic This Week”. You’ll hear Mozart’s “17th Piano Concerto” featuring soloist Conrad Tao. Jaap van Zweden conducts. Also on the program Respighi’s “Pines of Rome”.   

Monday night May 1 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s “The New York Philharmonic This Week”. You’ll hear a concert from October 2022 with music by Debussy, Caroline Shaw and Florence Price from the newly refurbished David Geffen Hall.

Wednesday night April 12 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on WILL-FM 90.9 it’s the second program in a new series from the San Francisco Symphony led by their new Music Director Esa-Pekka Salonen.  You’ll hear Debussy’s “Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun” and “La Mer”.

Monday night November 21 at 7:00 on the “Evening Concert” on FM 90.9 it’s “The New York Philharmonic This Week”.  Conrad Tao is the soloist in Mozart’s “Piano Concerto No. 17”. Also on the program Debussy’s “Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun” and Respighi’s “Pines of Rome”.
