You’ll hear Wagner’s “Siegfried Idyll” and “Prelude and Liebestod from ‘Tristan und Isolde’” and Mozart’s “25th Symphony in G Minor”. Also on the program Hakan Hardenberger is the soloist in Gruber’s “Trumpet Concerto”.

Tonight at 7:00 on the Evening Concert on FM 90.9 it’s the “Chicago Symphony Orchestra Radio Broadcast”. You’ll hear former Principal Trumpet Adolph “Bud” Herseth” in Haydn’s “E-flat Trumpet Concerto”, Ives’ “The Unanswered Question” and Mussorgsky’s “Pictures at an Exhibition”.
