Hundreds of volunteers are expected to come out to Boneyard Creek in Champaign-Urbana Saturday morning, April 12, to take part in the 14th annual Boneyard Creek Community Day.

Some east-central Illinois students have the chance this week to learn about clean water and keeping area waterways trash free.

The Museum of the Grand Prairie in Mahomet will host a Smithsonian exhibit next summer on the role of water in our communities. The exhibit is called Waterways and is part of a nationwide initiative meant to explore water use across the U.S.
