Illinois improves to 4-1 on the young season, and 1-0 in Big Ten play.  The Illini trailed by 10 at the half and never led until the game's final moments. 

Wes Lunt threw for 316 yards in interim coach Bill Cubit's second straight win to open the season. It was the Illini's first shutout since a 44-0 win over Charleston Southern three years ago.

Wes Lunt threw for 162 yards en route to the Illini's season-opening rout Saturday, a game re-scheduled due to lightning the night before. 

The interim head coach of the Illini football team says he's getting support from all over as he takes on the new role.  They'll host Kent State Friday at Memorial Stadium, with kickoff at 8 p.m.
