As we close in on the holidays, many of us are getting ready to spend time with friends and family, preparing to host, or making travel arrangements. As the saying goes, it can be the most wonderful time of the year. But it can also be the most stressful. 

From dealing with family disagreements to confronting feelings of isolation, the holidays can take a toll on our mental health in different ways. We got tips on how to prioritzie self-care during the busy holiday season, with Robin Gobin, assistant professor in the Department of Kinesiology and Community Health at the University of Illinois and the author of the book, "The Self-Care Prescription."
