The 21st spent some time at the Illinois State Fair, and among the many varied events at the fair is the Unclaimed Property Auction. It gives the state an opportunity to sell off items that have come into the possession of the state Treasurer’s office.
We spoke to Illinois State Treasurer Michael Frerichs to learn more about the unclaimed property auction.
