Political Events At The Illinois State Fair

The State Fair is taking place this week in Springfield and it's not all fun games, rides and cotton candy. There are at least 23 separate fundraising and speaking events in the next three days. They range from the big gathering of Democratic supporters in the parking lot of the Crowne Plaza to a reception at the Lake Springfield home of the Illinois Republican Party chairman.
The 21st was joined by NPR Illinois Statehouse editor Hannah Meisel to hear more.
