Americans continue turning out to protest the police killings of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and countless other black men and women. We’ll talk to a scholar who says while there is a long history of peaceful protest in America, violent and threatening demonstrations have been even more common.

Then, dental offices are reopening as coronavirus restrictions ease. But is it safe to go back? We’ll talk to a health reporter and the head of the Illinois Dental Hygienists Association.

And, this May marked the third time in three years we’ve seen record rainfall in parts of Illinois. We’ll check in with a farmer in Menard county and Illinois State Climatologist Trent Ford about whether a soaked spring is Illinois' new normal.
