Sam Walder, innovator and violinist
Sam Walder felt the difficulty and stress sometimes associated with learning the violin firsthand. "Music was a huge part of my life growing up, but mostly in a negative way because it was just so stressful." As a college student, he and collaborator Vishnu Indukuri first combined technology and the violin in a hackathon, where they developed an artificial intelligence composer. Sam says, "After that, we were thinking about this idea that it's so difficult to learn an instrument, and that's what brought up the original idea of Trala." Trala is a mobile app that helps students learn the violin faster and less stressfully. Sam created the app with Indukuri, and he’s now Trala, Inc.’s CEO.
