Only years after the CD arrived in the Friends of WILL Library did I notice the performer’s dedication.
It’s not exactly a happy ending. It’s more like a happy “thus far.”
I’m sure there are violinists who run in marathons. But there probably are more violinists who run from one particular marathon.
I noticed that there wasn’t much media coverage, even for a 50th anniversary.
We still can count them on the fingers of one hand.
There’s something just as much fun as trying to say that line several times quickly.
It’s almost like a trademark: that double “s” at the end of the name Strauss.
It’s funny how performers and audiences are in such awe of composers of the past.
