Preceding the Dvorak Quintet it's music by Prokofiev and Rzewski, then "Early Birds" on "Early Music Now", including Vivaldi's famous "Il Giardellino".
Also on the program: Varese's "Ameriques" and the world premiere of Salonen's "Pollux"
They'll play Mozart's "Sinfonia Concertante: and Bruckner's "7th Symphony"
Also on the program, Berg's "Violin Concerto".
Four vocal soloists, chorus, and orchestra are the forces for the "Requiem" by Verdi. Sit back and enjoy as the work runs the length of a feature-length movie.
You'll hear the "Requiem Mass", the "Great C Major Symphony", "Sinfonia concertante", "5th Symphony" and more.
It's a piano trio by LVB and a duo by WAM, and an hour of Heinichen's music.
