A “special” “Evening Concert 10:00 am New Year’s Day 2020: ““New Year’s Day from Vienna”

Join us Wednesday January 1, 2020 at 10 a.m. for a special daytime "Evening Concert": "New Year's Day from Vienna". The Vienna Philharmonic presents its ever-popular annual concert from the Golden Hall of the Musikverein in Vienna. You'll hear your favorite waltzes, polkas and more. It’s a live event from Vienna starting at 5:00 p.m. their time, 10:00 am our time.

Wednesday January 1, 2020 10:00 AM: New Year’s Day from Vienna (from NPR)

Andris Nelsons conducts the Vienna Philharmonic in the Musikverein in Vienna. Nelsons is Music Director of the Boston Symphony Orchestra and Gewandhauskapellmeister of the Gewandhausorchester Leipzig. Since 2010, Nelsons has been a musical partner of the Vienna Philharmonic. The New Year's Concert 2020 represents Nelsons' first time to conduct this prestigious international concert event.
