Illinois’s Haunted Places; Polsky Center Expands; Teaching Religion In Public Schools

On the 21st: We revisit our conversation about the history behind some of our state's haunted places, and rebroadcast our interview about how teaching religion in public schools is more important than ever in our current political climate. But first, the University of Chicago's John Flavin tells us about a partnership with the University of Illinois that will erect a 280,000 square foot facility on the city's South Side.

Inside Out Project Invites Public To Be Photographed For A Cause

The front wall of the University YMCA building, adjacent to the University of Illinois campus in Champaign was plastered with photographs Wednesday. The 3-foot-by-5-foot poster-size portraits were made in a mobile photo-booth, featuring people passing by who wanted to show their support for the DREAM Act, a bill in Congress to help young people who are in the country illegally. .
